Visualizing XML trees and node sets selected by XPathexpressions
نویسنده
چکیده
This report describes an approach to visualizing XML documents and node sets selected by XPath expressions. The system is based on XSLT and Lout and produces publication-quality PostScript output. We also describe educational uses of these visualizations.

Optimal Self-healing of Smart Distribution Grids Based on Spanning Trees to Improve System Reliability
In this paper, a self-healing approach for smart distribution network is presented based on Graph theory and cut sets. In the proposed Graph theory based approach, the upstream grid and all the existing microgrids are modeled as a common node after fault occurrence. Thereafter, the maneuvering lines which are in the cut sets are selected as the recovery path for alternatives networks by making ...
متن کاملCounting in Trees along Multidirectional Regular Paths
We propose a tree logic capable of expressing simple cardinality constraints on the number of nodes selected by an arbitrarily deep regular path with backward navigation. Specifically, a sublogic of the alternation-free μ−calculus with converse for finite trees is extended with a counting operator in order to reason on the cardinality of node sets. Also, we developed a bottom-up tableau-based s...
متن کاملA Revisiting “Forward node-selecting queries over trees”
XML is a World Wide Web Consortium (W3C) standard for tree-structured data. XPath [Clark and DeRose 1999] is an important language widely employed in XML query, transformation, and update languages. XPath is a language of path expressions that can be viewed as defining sets of nodes of a tree, by following axis steps and applying node tests or path-existence filters to navigate from the root of...
متن کاملXPlainer: Explaining XPath within Eclipse
The popularity of XML has motivated the development of novel XML processing tools many of which embed the XPath language for XML querying, transformation, constraint specification, etc. XPath developers (as well as less technical users) have access to commercial tools to help them use the language effectively. Example tools include debuggers that return the result of XPath subexpressions visual...
متن کاملLimit distribution of the degrees in scaled attachment random recursive trees
We study the limiting distribution of the degree of a given node in a scaled attachment random recursive tree, a generalized random recursive tree, which is introduced by Devroye et. al (2011). In a scaled attachment random recursive tree, every node $i$ is attached to the node labeled $lfloor iX_i floor$ where $X_0$, $ldots$ , $X_n$ is a sequence of i.i.d. random variables, with support in [0,...
